My name is Caitlin McCauley but I usually go by Katie. I live and work in the beautiful town of Ramelton in Co. Donegal. I am drawn to anything creative such as painting, baking and cooking. I can lose myself for hours in these activities but my one true passion is definitely needle-felting.

I was introduced to needle-felting by a teacher at school and knew that I had found my niche. I get my inspiration from the beautiful scenes of Donegal. 

One of the many reasons I enjoy needle felting is the 3-D textured finish it creates. Unfortunately this does not transfer well in photographs so it really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Each of my pieces are all individually handmade by me, using real merino sheep wool. You can find my art for sale in Snugborough, Letterkenny and in the Fanad Lighthouse gift shop.
